If you have already visited our "About" page you have gotten a brief introduction to our family. If you haven't, check it out to see what this site is all about. I named my site/page/community/whatever this becomes after two of my greatest loves: my son and my daughter. I've written this post about us in a little more detail, so hopefully you can find some things we have in common. Lets start out with the best of us:
Tommy.

He's the husband, the dad, the man behind it all. He is our strength, our endurance, and our greatest blessing. He is so willing to give up any and everything for himself so that our lives can be easier. I don't know how I tricked him into marrying me, but did the good Lord deliver? Or did He deliver?
Tommy loves the outdoors, guns, knives, cars, superhero TV shows, Alabama football, enchiladas and beef stroganoff (but not together...although I should try that sometime...beef stroganoff enchiladas?), reading a good book, dogs, and helping the young men that attend our church. He gets road rage and he hates Walmart.
He hates cats, dark chocolate, reckless drivers, traffic, sleeping on vacations, and TV shows that spend the whole episode recapping (The Curse of Oak Island, 60 Days In).
He is about to graduate from college with a degree in Business Management and is excited about expanding his career.
Brittany.

Is it sad that I don't have a picture of myself just me? I don't think so. These are my people, and I NEVER want to have a picture of "just me" again. I could have posted you a seriously outdated picture and seriously edited picture of me in high school, but I will spare you and post you this only-a-little outdated picture instead.
My "About Me" is simple. I'll state it in facts. I'm married to my best friend. Mama to my big boy and my baby girl. Puppy mama too. I'm physically dangerous without Diet Coke. I'm a book slave. Outdoor adventurer. Movie maniac. I roll with the tide (ALABAMA FOOTBALL).
In my house I'm the champion, the cheerleader, the chief inspiring officer, the queen of bedtime, bath time, dinnertime, storytime, holidays, holy days, early mornings, late nights and everything mothery and wifey.

Bubba.

I chose this picture of my Bub because this is the REAL Bubba. I could have posted a really preppy picture of him with his hair fixed, wearing his slacks, with a sweater on but THIS is how he really is ya'll. All boy. Like even-though-there's-a-cliff-there-I-am-still-going-to-jump-in-that-water boy. He has no fear whatsoever (I think that's why I have so much fear!). He's adventurous, wild, spirited, and two. He is two years old. I have been struggling with his strong will lately, but I just keep telling myself he is two. This TWO shall pass. hopefully.
Bubba loves eating. He isn't picky and he will eat pretty much anything I am eating. He's skinny as anything but heavy as a rock. He has the dreamiest brown eyes that he definitely knows how to work. He can get whatever he wants if he flashes those things at me. Girls, you watch out for brother man!
He loves his sissy. He always tries to give her her binky when she cries and he always wants to take the bottle to whoever is going to feed her. He gets jealous of her rarely, but when he does its like hit-the-floor jealousy. That's part of what inspired me to get creative with activities for him, and to share them on this site!!
Roo.

aka Little Angel Girl. That is literally what we call her 60% of the time because it is so true. She takes after her dad with her sweet nature. She demands so little and gives all of us so much joy. I mean just look at her. All she has to do is exist and it brings me joy. Her big blue eyes are the cutest thing I have ever seen, followed closely by her curly crazy dark hair.
I love when babies are born and for the first few months you just get to know them. Whoever said babies don't come here with personality never had any of their own. This baby came here with a love of food, soft blankets, those singy chimey stuffed animal toys, her swing, and being sweet. I have concluded that being sweet is one of her hobbies.
Bubba is my wild child, my adventurer, and so far Roo is my chill baby. My snuggly Momma's baby. Bub hates snuggling. I am still adjusting to these two different personalities and meeting both of their needs- new babies definitely throw a wrench into routines!!
{ Roo's Bow and Scarf are available at Lemons & Lace }
In short, that's our family! We're so glad you stopped by and get ready tomorrow for some fun, affordable, memory making playtime ideas and a new product I got in the mail just the other day that I already LOVE!!
